Six Diamonds Tree Services, Inc

Do you love having a live tree in your home for the holidays? If so, please take the necessary Christmas tree safety precautions to have a happy and safe holiday.

  • Fresh trees are less likely to catch fire. Look for bright green needles that don’t easily shed easily.
  • ONLY use lights that have been tested by a recognized lab like UL or ETL/ITSNA. Throw out lights with damaged, broken, or worn cord or loose connection.
  • Place the tree away from fireplaces, radiators, lights, and vents.
  • Keep the tree base filled with water.
  • Keep holiday candles away from your tree. Never leave a lit candle unattended.
  • Turn off your lights before going to be or leaving your home.

When you begin noticing that the needles are dropping, discard it properly. Check with your town to find out how to properly recycle your tree.
